How to: Thread a Brother 1034D Serger

I am so excited to finally be able to share that I have used my serger! I bought it back in November but hadn't had a chance to put it to use because I have been so busy and to be honest I was pretty intimidated. I started out reading the entire manual that came with it and I still had no idea how to even thread the thing. So I quickly googled it like I do with many things. And I stumbled across this EXTREMELY helpful video on youtube.

I hope this is helpful to anyone else that may be struggling. I will be post more tutorials on how to use this amazing little machine as I complete them! As always thanks for stopping by and be sure to leave a comment or question if you have one!

  1. Excellent Threading video. I put my machine away too long to remember the threading sequence, and if you work from right to left the thread won't chain together. Your video is much clearer and easier to understand than the manufacturers videos too. Thanks for posting it!
